Show & Tell, monthly Raffle, Demonstration, Lunch and Clay Day

Please remember to bring your latest creations for Show and Tell and don't forget this month's Raffle presented by Lynne Schmitt.

After the demonstration there will be a short break for lunch at the south end of the third floor hallway in the Resort's restaurant. After lunch it's back to the Hopi Room to have our clay day and see what everyone is working on. Our day usually finishes up about 3:30 PM.

Library

Check this site for library materials and e-mail the librarian, Kathy Halverson at library_azpcg@yahoo.com, with any requests you may have for a book, video, DVD, or magazine. Due to the large size of the library, it can no longer be brought to each meeting in its entirety. Also, remember if you borrow any materials from the library to make sure they are returned by the next meeting, otherwise you will accrue a fine of $5 per item, per month. If you're not going to be able to make this month's meeting, you can e-mail the librarian to see if you can borrow it for another month - this must be done before Friday afternoon November 16th. If it's not possible to renew your items for another month, you must send them to the meeting with another member to avoid a fine. You can also contact the librarian for information on mailing your items back before the next meeting.

In May, 2007, members of the Guild donated over 500 polymer clay hearts to the Hearts for Heroes project for our soldiers serving in Afghanistan and Iraq. These quarter-sized hearts have small clips for attaching to dog tags or key chains and will hopefully serve as a reminder of our support for our armed forces.
